If you’ve seen the recently released The LEGO Movie, you know that directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have a good handle on humor.  While the R-rated laughs found in the duo’s 21 Jump Street are obviously aimed at a different audience than the family-friendly film, they’re just as effective.  We’ve seen two cuts of trailers for Lord and Miller’s sequel, 22 Jump Street, but a new version shows off a bit more footage and shares a few new laughs.

Starring Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Nick Offerman, Amber StevensJillian Bell, and Craig Roberts22 Jump Street opens June 13, 2014.  Hit the jump to watch the new trailer.

Here’s the official synopsis for 22 Jump Street:

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.
