Magnolia Pictures has released a domestic trailer and poster for director Declan Lowney’s new film Alan Partridge.  The movie is based on the Alan Partridge character made famous by Steve Coogan, and finds the radio and TV personality having a nervous breakdown in Dundee.  Though I haven’t been familiar with the character previously, this trailer is quite funny and the pic looks to be a swell showcase of Coogan’s comedic talents.

Hit the jump to watch the trailer and to check out the domestic poster.  The film also stars Felicity Montagu, Simon Greenall, Colm Meaney, and Tim KeyAlan Partridge will be available on iTunes starting February 27th and opens in U.S. theaters on April 4th.
