News out of Berlin, via Variety, has Spencer, Wallis and Kruger joining Fathers and Daughters.  Scripted by Black List scribe Brad Desch, the story follows a father (Crowe) and daughter (Seyfried) living 25 years apart in New York City; the picture is currently in pre-production in Pittsburgh.  Spencer will play “the spirited head of the psychiatric clinic where Seyfried’s character counsels troubled children.” Wallis plays a patient who hasn’t spoken since her mother’s death, and Kruger will play Crowe’s character’s sister-in law.

THR reports that Harington will star in Testament of Youth, an adaptation of the World War I-era autobiography by Vera Britain.  She recounts how her life was forever altered by the events of the war, becoming a nurse on the frontlines and eventually becoming a feminist and writer.  Vikander will play Britain while Harington will play her fiance.  The pair also star in Seventh Son, which will open this weekend.

Finally, from Deadline, we have word that Daddario will star opposite Johnson in San Andreas.  Johnson stars as a rugged rescue-helicopter pilot who embarks on a dangerous journey to rescue his estranged daughter (Daddario) after a devastating California earthquake.  Daddario can currently be seen on HBO’s miniseries, True Detective.
