Though the work week has officially ended, there’s one last bit of Ant-Man to reveal on the heels of the debut trailer and new images/plot details. EW has unveiled even more new Ant-Man images from the Marvel film, including concept art that gives us a good look at the Yellowjacket suit owned by Corey Stoll’s baddie. We recently learned that the central conceit of the film involves Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang, a con man, being enlisted by Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, the originator of Ant-Man, to steal the Yellowjacket suit from his rival and former protégé. In essence, Marvel’s doing a heist film, and director Peyton Reed will be attempting to bring the genre to the screen while maintaining an overall sense of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Again, I can’t say I was blown away by the first trailer, but I’m willing to give the film a shot if only to see Paul Rudd play a superhero.
Check out the new Ant-Man images after the jump. The film also stars Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Gregg Turkington, T.I., and John Slattery. Ant-Man opens July 17th.
