First Look at ARROW’s Suicide Squad Featuring Michael Jai White, Sean Maher, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Michael Rowe, Audrey Marie Anderson & David Ramsey

The CW’s Arrow may be on a brief hiatus during the Olympics, but that didn’t stop the show from releasing a couple of new teaser images.  Those of you who have been keeping up with the show (and our recaps) know that the formation of the Suicide Squad has been in the works for some time now.  In the comics, this special unit was overseen by the Director of A.R.G.U.S., Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) and is composed of incarcerated supervillains looking to carve some time off of their sentences by participating in dangerous missions.  Hit the jump to check out the new images and to find out who’s on the team.

“Dig was our way into Amanda Waller, and in this episode, Amanda comes to Dig and Lyla, and she recruits Dig for a mission, and tells him he’s going to need a team — and she saddles him with the Suicide Squad.”

There you have it.  We should get our first look at the team in action on the March 19th episode of Arrow titled, fittingly, “Suicide Squad”.
