The first junkets for one of the year’s most anticipated films, Avengers: Age of Ultron, get underway today, which means you can expect a lot of promotion for the Marvel sequel in the coming weeks. But that’s OK when we get things like these new Age of Ultron covers for Entertainment Weekly, which provide our clearest look yet at Paul Bettany as The Vision. The comics character, of course, will give physical form to J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony Stark’s electronic butler, so his interaction with the team should be quite something.
The Age of Ultron covers also provide new looks at the entire cast, plus the villainous Ultron, a drone-gone-wrong of Stark’s design, embodied by James Spader via motion capture. As the Marvel sequel’s release looms closer, it’s going to be tougher and tougher to avoid seeing too much from the movie before it opens, but teases like this only serve to heighten anticipation even more.
Check out the Avengers: Age of Ultron covers below, via EW. The film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgard, and Hayley Atwell. Avengers: Age of Ultron opens on May 1st.
