AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Extended TV Spot: “Alright, It’s Time for Some Fun”

     March 19, 2015

Disney has released an Avengers: Age of Ultron extended TV spot, and now my desire to see the film is reaching critical mass. Unlike the trailers, which went full on action, this TV spot is mostly about the characters as the actors fire off the great dialogue we’ve come to expect from writer-director Joss Whedon. While we know the sequel will be much darker than the original, this TV spot is reminder that there will be plenty of moments to make fans laugh and cheer.

Check out the Avengers: Age of Ultron extended TV spot below. The film opens in 3D on May 1st, and stars The two videos from ET primarily consist of amusing banter between Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Stellan Skarsgard, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell, Idris Elba, and Don Cheadle.

Update: Yet another extended TV Spot just hit. It’s mainly culled from footage from the above teaser, but is worth a look anyway.

Here’s the official synopsis for Avengers: Age of Ultron:

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
