‘Batman: Return to Arkham’ Side-by-Side Comparison Showcases Improved Graphics

     September 6, 2016

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new Batman: Return to Arkham trailer highlighting the graphical improvements. Return to Arkham brings Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and this video shows how much better the games look on the PS4 compared to the PS3. That’s not to say the games ever looked bad. They were always richly detailed with a striking palette. It appears what developer Virtuos has done with their remake is to sharpen up the environments and provide more color. There’s no drastic changes, and that’s fine. I just want to be able to play the first two Arkham games on my Xbox One.

However, since the game was pulled from the release calendar this past June, we’ve been left wondering when exactly Return to Arkham would be gracing consoles. Thankfully, we now have an answer. Batman: Return to Arkham will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 18th. Clear your calendars.

Check out the side-by-side comparison video below.
