The new trailer for Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice just debuted, and it was certainly something. We got plenty of new looks at Snyder’s Man of Steel follow-up, giving us a better sense of what to expect from the Warner Bros. DC Cinematic Universe once Batman (portrayed by Ben Affleck) is added to the equation. As the subtitle suggests, this is essentially a jumping off point for the rest of WB’s DC films, and with Wonder Woman now in production and Justice League Part One set to begin filming next year, the wheels are (finally) turning on the studio’s answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Since this new trailer was so revealing (comics villain Doomsday looks to be the formidable foe that unites Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman), it felt prudent to pull some screengrabs so we can take a closer look at just what we saw in this new look at Batman v Superman.
