With anticipation building for Scott Cooper’s Black Mass and Denis Villeneuve’s Sicario playing at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival, we have new posters for each film to get you primed. In the first film, Johnny Depp stars as infamous Boston mobster Whitey Bulger, who collaborated with the FBI in order to take out the Italian mafia. Also starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Corey Stoll and Dakota Johnson, Black Mass opens in theaters on September 18th.
Taking the action south of the border, Sicario stars Emily Blunt as an FBI agent who finds herself in over her head when an elite task force leader recruits her in the war on drugs, spiriting her away to Mexico under the command of a mysterious consultant.
