First up from Variety comes cam-gigandet-plushword that Gigandet will join Plush, a project directed, produced and co-written (with Artie Nelson) by Hardwicke.  We previously reported on Browning’s cast addition to Plush in which she starred as a teenage patient of a psychic psychologist.  Gigandet will reportedly fill the role of the psychologist who attempts to help his patients by delving into their mind’s memories, but meets his match in Browning’s character, who shares his gift.

Deadline reports that recent Tony winner, Corden, has two features ahead of him.  There’s the John Carney-directed Can a Song Save Your Life? which stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeld and Adam Levine. Knightley plays a singer who moves to New York with her boyfriend, only to be dumped when he finds success in the big city.  Corden will play her best friend.

Corden will also headline the David Frankel film, One Chance. He’ll play Paul Potts, a British cellphone salesman who took the stage of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007 and blew everyone away with his operatic rendition of Nessun Dorma.  Potts went on to win the competition and is now enjoying a career singing opera.  Check out the performance that Corden has to live up to here:

Another Broadway star, cristin-milioti-wolf-of-wall-streetMilioti, who just landed herself a Tony nomination for Once, is in talks to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. The picture is a Terence Winter (The Sopranos) adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s memoirs, which tracked his rile and fall on Wall Street and painted a picture of his rock star lifestyle.  DiCaprio will star as Belfort, while the supporting cast includes Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin and Kyle Chandler. Variety reports that Milioti is negotiating to play Belfort’s first wife, a hairdresser of Italian-American descent who is loyal to a fault and devastated when Belfort inevitably strays.  The picture begins production in New York later this summer.

Finally, from Variety comes word that Lyons has joined Safe Haven, the Relativity picture that stars Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel. Adapted from a Nicholas Sparks novel by the same name, Safe Haven features Hough as a young woman who has recently moved to a small North Carolina town and is reluctant to join their exclusive community due to troubles from her past.  Duhamel stars as Hough’s love interest while Lyons plays her estranged husband.  Lasse Hallstrom directs from a screenplay by Dana Stevens and Les Bohem.  Production is slated to begin Monday in North Carolina with a North American debut set for February 8th, 2013.
