A little over a week before we get a look at Captain America: The Winter Soldier at Comic-Con, Disney has released the first teaser poster for the film.  It’s nice, simple, effective, and almost purely for comic book fans.  For causal moviegoers who see this at their local multiplex, they’ll just know that there’s a new Captain America movie on the way on April 4, 2014.  That’s more than enough for now.  I also suspect that this poster may be given out at the Marvel’s Comic-Con booth, but that’s just a guess based on how the company has handled past artwork they’ve debuted online and then brought as swag for attendees.

Hit the jump to check out the poster.  The film stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Georges St-Pierre, Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Maximiliano Hernández, Robert Redford, and Samuel L. Jackson.  Marvel will have its panel for Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World in Hall H on July 20th.

Here’s the synopsis for Captain America: The Winter Soldier:

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
