Listen, I’m all in on Captain Marvel, because I believe more movies should be outer space romps in which Oscar winners shoot lasers from their hands. I have very specific tastes. But that hasn’t stopped Disney from releasing images, trailers, and posters galore for the upcoming MCU entry starring Brie Larson as half-human, half-Kree Carol Danvers. The latest: Larson herself took to Twitter to share a pretty dope little clip from the film that sees Danvers brawling with a besweatered alien on top of a train. Samuel L. Jackson‘s digitally de-aged, two-eyes-havin’ Nick Fury and Clark Gregg‘s Phil Coulson follow on the ground below.
Set in the 1990s—decades before Thanos went and snapped half the universe from existence—Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, from a script they co-wrote with Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Lee Pace will reprise his villainous Ronan the Accuser role from Guardians of the Galaxy, while Jude Law makes his MCU debut as Starforce leader Mar-Vell.
Check out the clip below. Captain Marvel—which also stars Annette Benning, Djimon Hounsou, Ben Mendelsohn, and Clark Gregg—flies into theaters on March 8.
