Chloë Grace Moretz in Final Talks for IF I STAY, Melissa McCarthy Lends Her Voice to DreamWorks Animation’s B.O.O.: BUREAU OF OTHERWORLDLY OPERATIONS

Variety reports chloe-grace-moretzthat Moretz is in final talks for If I Stay, a story of a relationship between an accomplished 17-year-old cellist destined for Julliard and her indie rock-star boyfriend; their lives are derailed when a car accident sends her into a coma.  Director R.J. Cutler (Nashville) was previously attached and will reportedly stick with the picture despite the studio change.  Moretz will next be seen in Kick-Ass 2, followed by MGM’s reboot, Carrie.

From Deadline comes word that McCarthy will partner up with Rogen to lend their voices to B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations.  Scheduled for a June 5, 2015 release, B.O.O. centers on a secret government agency composed of ghosts who are dedicated to protecting humans from evil hauntings. “Two new agents, Jackson Moss (Rogen) and his oddball partner Watts (McCarthy) uncover a plot by the agency’s Most Wanted Haunter to destroy B.O.O. They must use every trick in their arsenal to defeat his powerful ghost army and save Earth from a ghostly fate.”  McCarthy will next star in the buddy cop comedy The Heat opposite Sandra Bullock and is currently filming the road trip comedy, Tammy.
