First up from Variety is news that Smulders may be starring alongside Vaughn in the untitled remake of the French-Canadian comedy, Starbuck.  The plot centers on a man (Vaughn) who discovers that he has fathered 533 children through his sperm donation and a few hundred of those kids want to meet their daddy.  Smulders is in talks to co-star as Vaughn’s character’s pregnant girlfriend.  Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation) was previously attached to play Vaughn’s character’s lawyer.  The roles of the protagonist’s brother and father (not to mention the legions of children) have yet to be cast.

Variety also reports that Holloway is negotiating to join Breacher.  Previously titled Ten, the story was inspired by Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians.”  The Skip Woods (Hitman) plot follows ten DEA agents who raid a cartel safe house and end up pocketing a stash worth millions.  They think they’ve made a clean getaway until team members begin dying off one by one.  Holloway is in talks to star as Neck, a grizzled agent and team medic.  Breacher also stars Malin Akerman, Terrence Howard, Mireille Enos, Joe Mangianello, Olivia Williams, Max Martini and Dawn Olivieri.  Production is scheduled for October in Atlanta.

Finally, from Deadline comes word that Cornish has been cast in the lead role of Fellini Black and White.  She will play Betty, a veterinarian whom acclaimed director Federico Fellini (Nights of Cabiria) fell in love with when he came to America for the first time in 1957. The picture also stars William H. Macy, Terrence Howard and Peter Dinklage, with Brazilian star Wagner Maura as Fellini and Nina Arianda, who will play Italian film star Giulietta Masina, Fellini’s wife.
