The new James Bond film Spectre hit theaters here in North America in just a few weeks, but the first press screening was held in London and the initial reactions are making their way online. The response to the film seems to be mostly positive but also a bit mixed. The Guardian wrote: “Spectre review: James Bond is back, stylish, camp and sexily pro-Snowden”, and The Times writer Kate Muir tweeted after the screening: “Shall be giving #SPECTRE the full five-star treatment in The Times ”. However, a writer from The Playlist and Yahoo Movies tweeted: “Spectre: Quantum Of Solace 2: This Time It’s Personal. Bad action, lousy plotting, Lea Seydoux only redeeming feature.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter Ant-Man director Peyton Reed is currently in talks to return for Ant-Man and the Wasp, the sequel to the film already set for a July 6, 2018 release date. The first Ant-Man film loved by both critics and audiences alike scoring an 80% critic rating and an 89% audience rating and also exceeded studio expectation by making over $454 million dollars worldwide.

A brand new trailer for the upcoming Will Ferrell/Mark Wahlberg comedy Daddy’s Home has just hit the web. Daddy’s Home follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best step dad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids. Daddy’s Home hits theatres on Christmas day.

Mike Foster writes: Greetings Collider crew, according to Box Office Mojo Jurassic World opened on 4,291 screens earning the highest opening weekend of all time, and the most opening weekend screens is 4,468 for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. How many theaters do you think The Force Awakens will open, can it exceed 4,500?

Jennifer Linden writes: My question is about Batman v Superman. With the huge success of the new Star Wars in regards to advanced ticket sales, how big should our expectations be when the Dark Knight takes on the Man Of Steel? Could the advance ticket sales eclipse those of the new Star Wars?

Bespin Raptor writes: Hey Collider Crew. I’m a big fan and watch most of your shows every day. My question is: at what point is a spoiler no longer a spoiler? If I were to say that Darth Vader is Luke’s father, no one would care. But if I were to mention the ending of a movie currently in theaters or just released on DVD/Blu-ray, many people would consider it to be too soon. So how long should someone wait before they start talking about all aspects of a movie and not being worried about spoiling it for people. Thanks, and keep up the great videos.
