Andrew Valovich writes: Hey guys, long time viewer, love the show. My question is about this new trend of rebooting older franchises with an all female cast or lead. With actresses finally speaking out about gender inequality in Hollywood, do you think this is a bit of a cop out for studios to try and pretend they actually care about this issue? I feel that even though I’m sure these movies will be good, maybe creating some all new female driven franchises would be better for equality than spinning off what male actors have already done. Thoughts?
Michael Hamilton writes: Hi movie talk crew! With all furor for The Force Awakens going around my question is if George Lucas is saying that Greedo shot first is that the end all be all for the Han or Greedo debate? Thanks and may the force be with you all!
Lewis DesLauriers wrotes: We always like to talk about the best movies ever. What are the 5 WORST comic book movies of all time? Love the show.
Garry Hasara writes: Favorite 7th movie of a franchise this year: Creed or Furious 7?
Augustine Hernandez writes: I’m a newcomer to your show, first discovering your show when the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers came out. Anyways, I had a question about the two movies opening on the same weekend, Deadpool and Zoolander 2. Who do you think will make more at the box office or will be considered “successful” at the box office. Do you think Deadpool will be affected by this?
Lexi Russell writes: Love your show! My boyfriend got me turned on to you guys and now I watch it without him. Anyway, the National Board Of Review was the first critic group to put out their awards list and they named Mad Max: Fury Road best picture of the year. Do you agree with that pick?
Drew Shaffer writes: Dear collider, love the show! My question is do you think actors that have a failing career that are cast in a sequel years later… that sequel could save their career? For example Hayden Christensen being in episode 8? Love to hear your thoughts thank you!
