As many of you will remember we recently told you about a report from JoBlo.Com that Mark Ruffalo and The Hulk would be appearing in the upcoming third Thor movie, Thor: Ragnorak. Now, multiple major trades are corroborating the report claiming that Ruffalo is in final negotiations for his appearance. The earlier story reported that the film will center on a “distant planet” that is “not Asgard and not Earth.” This has fueled speculation that there could be elements from the Planet Hulk comic book storyline.
According to a new report from Variety, James McAvoy will soon be joining Charlize Theron in the new upcoming spy thriller The Coldest City. One of the directors of John Wick, David Leitch, will be helming the film said to be set in the late 1980s, the film centers around a spy dealing with the aftermath of the murder of an underground MI6 officer.
The upcoming horror/comedy Freaks of Nature (formerly known as The Kitchen Sink) has just released its first red-band trailer. In Freaks of Nature, we are welcomed to Dillford, where three days ago, everything was peaceful and business as usual: the vampires were at the top of the social order, the zombies were at the bottom, and the humans were getting along in the middle. But this delicate balance was ripped apart when the alien apocalypse arrived in Dillford and put an end to all the harmony. Now it’s humans vs. vampires vs. zombies in all-out, blood-sucking, brain-eating, vamp-staking mortal combat – and all of them are on the run from the aliens. It is up to three teenagers – one human, one vampire, and one zombie – to team up, figure out how to get rid of the interplanetary visitors, and try to restore order to this “normal” little town.
According to a tweet from director Matt Reeves, shooting on the next Planet of the Apes film, War for the Planet of the Apes has officially begun. The previous film,Dawn of the Planet of the Apes went on make over $708 million worldwide at the box office.
Harry Green writes: First many thanks for placing my question on Friday’s show b/c I know there are a lot of awesome questions coming in. Hey, has anyone in Marvel considered getting with Guillermo Del Toro to either direct or produce Doctor Strange? After watching Crimson Peak I find that this guy has his finger on the pulse of merging the supernatural & horror with reality. Besides he has already worked with them when he did Blade II.
Cinema Adict writes: Hey Collider Crew, I have a random question for you guys. If you could only choose one which would you choose, free movie tickets to any movie for life or free concessions for life? Thanks and keep the content coming.
