Exclusive Clip: Dane Cook, Brandon Routh Try to Survive a Space Simulation in ‘400 Days’

     January 20, 2016

Imagine you’re an aspiring astronaut and you’re assigned to participate in a simulated mission designed to test the psychological effects of deep space travel. Quite the opportunity, right? Perhaps, but not when the group of astronauts participating in the experiment are left to wonder whether the simulation is incredibly realistic or if the whole thing isn’t simulated after all.

So it goes in Syfy Films’ latest production, 400 Days. The feature stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Ben Feldman and Dane Cook as the group participating in the experiment and we have an exclusive clip revealing how they react when things start to go awry in the capsule. Find out who’s for opening the capsule hatch and “losing” and who’d rather risk their lives to complete the mission in the video player below. 400 Days is currently available on Digital HD and on VOD. The film is directed by Matt Osterman and also stars Tom Cavanagh.

Here’s the official synopsis for 400 Days:

Written and directed by Matt Osterman (Ghost from the Machine), 400 DAYS centers on four astronauts sent on a simulated mission to a distant planet to test the psychological effects of deep space travel. Locked away for 400 days, the crew’s mental state begins to deteriorate when they lose all communication with the outside world. The feature film stars Brandon Routh and Caity Lotz (who also star in the upcoming Arrow/Flash spinoff series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Emmy® nominee Ben Feldman (Mad Men), comedian Dane Cook (Detention, Mr. Brooks), Tom Cavanagh (The Flash) and Grant Bowler (Defiance).
