The Wrap reports that Radcliffe and DeHaan will star in College Republicans, along with the revelation that Krokidas will be directing. A rep from Radcliffe’s camp denied the casting and DeHaan’s people didn’t respond, but if it turns out to be true, than the Kill Your Darlings team would reunite to take on the Wes Jones Black List script. “Based on true events from 1973, the story finds aspiring politician Karl Rove (DeHaan) running a dirty campaign for national College Republican Chairman under the guidance of campaign manager Lee Atwater (Radcliffe). The duo take a spirited road trip to drum up support for Rove’s candidacy.”
Deadline reports that Mount and Jacobs have joined Visions, a thriller about “expectant mother Julia (Isla Fisher) who is plagued by strange and terrifying visions of a sinister hooded figure only she can see when she and her husband (Mount) move to the countryside. To protect her unborn child, she sets out to uncover the truth about what is haunting her as her husband becomes increasingly concerned for her well-being.” Jacobs stars as a woman who befriends Julia. Jim Parsons also stars.
