According to a report from THR, 20th Century Fox is moving full-steam ahead on the Deadpool sequel while also developing a third Deadpool film. Not only that, the third installment will reportedly feature X-Force, the team of superheroes most famously led by Deadpool’s frienemy Cable. Sources for THR also report that Simon Kinberg will oversee a new reboot of their flagship X-Men series, writing a new script that will keep Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy “optimistically in mind” to continue their roles. The spin-off’s of Gambit and New Mutants will also be put back into active development with The Fault in Our Stars director Josh Boone mentioned as possibly helming New Mutants, with cameras possibly rolling beginning in spring.

It looks like Spider-Man is in it for the long hall. After debuting as the web-slinger in this year’s Captain America: Civil War, actor Tom Holland revealed that he’s signed on to appear as the superhero in six Marvel movies. He told THR that he does know he has three Spider-Man solo movies contracted as well as three appearances as in other movies as well.
