First Look at ENDER’S GAME Battle School Army Logos

     February 19, 2013

Gavin Hood’s Ender’s Game is easily my most anticipated film of 2013.  Starring Asa Butterfield (Hugo) as Andrew “Ender” Wiggin, Ender’s Game follows our protagonist as he trains at the International Military school in order to save the world from an alien menace.  We haven’t heard too much from the film lately, other than the fact that it will be released in IMAX and that the official synopsis was unexpectedly spoilery.  Today, we have four new images to share with you in the way of logos for different armies in Ender’s Battle School.  Three of them are previewed above, but we’re keeping the fourth til after the jump because it’s somewhat spoilery itself.

Also starring Harrison Ford, Sir Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Viola Davis and Abigail Breslin, Ender’s Game will open in theaters November 1st.  Hit the jump to check out the logos.

The three following logos all come from different Ender’s Game news sites, each with an exclusive look at an individual army logo.  The insignia designate which army a student of the Battle School belongs to as well as ranking their performance as soldiers.  Here’s a look at the logos for the Rat Army, the Salamander Army, and the Asp Army:

Now the last logo we have to share today is a bit of a spoiler, so if you don’t want to see it, just leave now.  The only reason it’s somewhat spoilery is that: Ender bounces around from army to army as part of his trials and eventually is placed on the Dragon Army, which hasn’t existed for quite some time and was disbanded due to its horrendous losing streak. If you’re still with us, check out the Dragon Army logo below:

Here’s the full synopsis for Ender’s Game:

In the near future, a hostile alien race (called the Formics) have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander, Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young children to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy, but strategically brilliant boy is pulled out of his school to join the elite.

Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult war games, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham, himself, to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
