First Look at Footage from Disney Animation Studio’s FROZEN

While the first teaser trailer for Walt Disney’s new animated film Frozen has been around for a couple of weeks now, the movie’s introduction didn’t actually feature any of the lead characters.  Now, courtesy of a Japanese entertainment show of all things, we’ve got the first look at footage from the movie itself.  Frozen centers on Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) and Kristoff (voiced by Jonathan Groff) as they team up to put an end to the icy spell cast by the Snow Queen (voiced by Idina Menzel).  Also starring Alan Tudyk and Josh GadFrozen opens November 27th.  Hit the jump to watch the first footage from the film.

Here’s the official synopsis for Frozen:

When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, an amazing and comedic snowman named Olaf, Everest-like conditions and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
