Guillermo del Toro Video Interview JULIA’S EYES

     September 15, 2010

The other day I got to interview Guillermo del Toro for about thirty minutes as he was at TIFF (Toronto International Film festival) to help promote director Guillem Morales Julia’s Eyes – which he produced.  Starring Belén Rueda (The Orphange) as a woman who is losing her sight but continues to investigate the mysterious circumstances regarding her sister’s death, the film is a solid thriller with great cinematography and atmosphere. You can watch the trailer here and here’s an interview I did with director Guillem Morales.

During the part of the interview that covered Julia’s Eyes, del Toro talked about what got him involved in the movie, what he asked for as the producer, and we discussed how hands on he is when his name is attached.  Hit the jump for what he had to say and look for more with del Toro very soon:

Finally, if you missed the first part of my interview with del Toro where he talked about his projects at DreamWorks Animation and how he’s developing TV shows, click here.
