Watch: Hugh Jackman Offers WOLVERINE: THE MUSICAL Preview in the Form of a Retooled “Who Am I?” Performance

     March 31, 2014

It’s no secret that, in addition to looking impossibly young and always in shape, Hugh Jackman is an accomplished stage performer—he even won a Tony award in 2004 for The Boy from Oz.  Given his lovely singing voice and tenure as Wolverine in the X-Men films, many have joked about a possible Wolverine: The Musical stage production or movie.  Well today we’re getting about as close as possible to that prospect ever becoming a reality, as a video has surfaced of Jackman singing a Wolverine-themed song to the tune of “Who Am I?” from Les Miserables in the BBC Radio 1 studio.  It’s an all-too-brief moment and there aren’t any costumes or production flairs, but for those just itching to see Jackman sing about Wolverine, your time has come.

Hit the jump to watch the video.  Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which opens in theaters May 23rd.
