J.J. Abrams Bringing PULP Fiction to Television

     January 6, 2011

Okay, so the creator of Lost isn’t adapting Quentin Tarantino’s fantastic feature film into a TV series, but J.J. Abrams is developing Pulp, a new crime drama that is “set in a slightly heightened reality.” TV Line also mentions that Monica Breen and Alison Schapker (who previously worked with Abrams on Alias, Lost and Fringe) wrote the script and will executive produce the series as well.

No story details are mentioned, but hopefully we’ll find out soon since Bad Robot will be taking the potential series pitch to networks very soon. This is just one of many projects from Abrams being developed for the next season of TV, so stay tuned to see which ones actually stick around.
