Additionally, Variety reports that Emile Hirsch will join Asa Butterfield (Ender’s Game), Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit), and Ethan Hawke in the coming-of-age comedy Ten Thousand Saints.  Bob Pulcini and Shari Berman are directing the pic, which takes place in the Lower East Side of New York City in the 1980s and revolves around “three screwed up young people and their equally screwed up parents.”  Filming is slated to begin Monday, January 27th.

Variety also reports that American Horror Story: Coven star Sarah Paulson has signed on to star in director Todd Haynes’ (I’m Not There) drama Carol, which is adaptation of author Patricia Highsmith’s novel The Price of Salt.  The film already has Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara set to star, and Paulson will play Blanchett’s ex-lover and current confidante.
