Heat Vision reportskristen-stewart-jesse-eisenberg that Adventureland protags Stewart and Eisenberg are set to star in American Ultra.  The action comedy sees Eisenberg playing “an unmotivated stoner named Mike, who lives with his girlfriend Phoebe (Stewart), in a small, sleepy town. One night, their lives take an unexpected turn when Mike’s past comes back to haunt him, and he becomes the target of a government operation set to wipe him out.”  Production on American Ultra is scheduled to begin in April 2014.

Stewart will also feature in a small role of Blake Nelson’s indie picture, Anesthesia.  As Deadline reports, the movie “follows a group of New Yorkers whose lives are touched by the same philosophy professor.”  Stewart will film a couple of days in the picture.

Finally, from The Wrap comes word that Jackson will reteam with 1408 co-star Cusack in Cell.   Scripted by King and Adam Alleca (The Last House on the Left), Cell stars Jackson as “Tom McCourt, an engineer and former soldier who escapes from Boston along with Cusack’s character, Clay Riddell, after a mysterious cell phone-transmitted pulse spreads like a virus through the human population.”  The picture is set to begin production in January.
