‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Kicks off Filming with “Massive” Fight Scene

     September 9, 2015

As excited as I am for The Flash and Arrow to return to the CW, I’m super curious about DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The spin-off features a hodgepodge of characters who will be fighting crime through time, which is a concept that could go very right or very wrong. But the cast (Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Arthur Darvill, Ciara Renée, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Falk Hentschel) is kickass, so I’m hopeful.

The mid-season show has also apparently just started filming, and according to a tweet from writer Marc Guggenheim, it looks like it will be a 2-part (2 hour?) premiere, directed by Glen Winter. Caity Lotz also confirmed on Twitter:

Day one has begun. And yes were shooting a massive fight scene today :) #LegendsOfTomorrow

And then both of them shared a ton of table read pics. Bonus fan points if you can name everyone featured in all of these images below. Legends of Tomorrow is set to premiere in 2016 on the CW, and here’s a behind-the-scenes clip that also features Diggle’s new duds.
