We’ve seen a good deal of Mad Max: Fury Road promotional material at this point, but I still can’t get enough of it. The movie stars Tom Hardy as Mad Max. After losing his wife and child he commits to living life on his own until his path collides with Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) who’s determined to make her way across the Wasteland and back home.
Do these TV spots reveal anything new? Not really, but they certainly have that same mesmerizing quality we saw in all of the previously released trailers. They’re a mere 15 seconds long and rock some serious energy, but the visuals are so rich, it’s well worth pausing mid-explosion to take in all of the details. Check out the two new Mad Max: Fury Road TV spots for yourself below. The film will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and then open in 3D nationwide on May 15th. Mad Max: Fury Road also stars Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, Zoe Kravitz, Courtney Eaton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Here’s the official synopsis for Mad Max: Fury Road:
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
