Mark Ruffalo Talks AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, Hulk’s Future, and NOW YOU SEE ME 2

     May 4, 2015

At the Los Angeles press day for Avengers: Age of Ultron, I landed an exclusive video interview with Mark Ruffalo. While I’ve already teased a few parts from the interview over the past few weeks, it’s finally time for the entire conversation. During our talk, Ruffalo discussed memorable moments from filming the Marvel sequel, the worst job he’s ever had, Hulk’s involvement in Captain America: Civil War, why we haven’t seen a new solo Hulk film, the future of Hulk in the MCU, deleted scenes, Now You See Me 2, and a lot more.

Finally, specific Age of Ultron plot points are talked about in the interview below. I advise not watching until you’ve seen the Avengers sequel. As usual, a time index of what was discussed is below the video.

Mark Ruffalo:

  • Discusses worst job before acting and his old boss.
  • [01:31–5:00]: Talks about most memorable moment on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron, his movie contract with Marvel, Hulk’s involvement in Captain America: Civil War, and why we haven’t seen a new standalone Hulk film.
  • [5:01–9:10]: Discusses the future of Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in regards to the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron and beyond, his discussions with Joss Whedon, and twists in the film.
  • [9:11–11:00]: Talks about deleted scenes in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and teases Now You See Me 2.
