Alliances Are Formed in New MARVEL’S DAREDEVIL Images

     March 26, 2015

The premiere date of Marvel’s Daredevil is looming closer, and in anticipation of the Netflix series debut, Marvel has unveiled a pair of new images. The photos tease alliances that are formed in the series, “some for evil,” and “some for good.” Indeed we see Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin meeting with Wai Ching Ho’s Madame Gao, and then a very official lawyer-y meeting involving Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, an “enigmatic young woman whose quest for justice sends her crashing into Murdock’s life.”

I’m curious to see how the show balances Murdock’s day job as an attorney with his night job as a crime fighter. The difference between suited lawyer and masked vigilante is vast, so I imagine bridging that gap effectively will be key to the show’s success.

We’ve seen quite a bit from the series thus far and we’re starting to gauge just how different it (hopefully) will be from Marvel’s network TV offerings. But I’m curious to hear what you readers think. Do you see Marvel’s Daredevil finally breaking out of Marvel’s TV funk? Is Netflix the key to extending the Marvel Cinematic Universe beyond the films? Sound off in the comments.
