sandra-bullock-tupperwareFirst up from THR is news that Bullock is circling the role of Wise in Taylor’s untitled Tupperware tale.  The picture, also scripted by Taylor, tracks the rise of the Tupperware brand when Wise came up with the idea of hosting Tupperware parties in the 1950s.  The events caught on and spread across the country, making Wise (and her products) rather famous, and landing her on the cover of Business Week in 1954, making her the first woman to achieve that feat.  Even with all of her success, Wise was a victim of post-World War II era sexism as Tupperware’s founder pushed her out of the company and attempted to erase her name from history.  The script is based on Bob Kealing’s non-fiction work, “Tupperware Unsealed.”  Note that Bullock has expressed an interest in the role, but is not formally attached.

The Wrap reports that Rudolph has joined the highly secretive voice cast of Disney’s Big Hero 6.  Don Hall and Chris Williams are co-directing the film, which is still slated for a November 7th release date despite no official word on casting.  There’s also no news as to Rudolph’s role, except that it will be a lead.  Miller is expected to voice Fredzilla, while Chung will voice Go Go Tomago.  The movie follows “brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion — a robot named Baymax — Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.”

The Wrap also reports that Pattinson is out of Mission: Blacklist, citing scheduling issues.  He was lined up to play “military interrogator Eric Maddox, who spearheaded Hussein’s capture,” but the role will now be recast.  Filmmakers, including director Jesper Ganslandt, aim to start production this fall.
