Monday TV Ratings: ‘Supergirl’ Slips, ‘Gotham’ Rises (A Bit)

The Monday TV ratings for November 2nd are in; here are some of the highlights:

  • An unscripted program, namely NBC’s The Voice, which took in a strong 3.2 in the key demos in the 8 p.m. slot, won the night. The competition show raked in a total of 11.8 million viewers, and even saw an uptick of a tenth from last week’s episode.
  • As far as scripted programs go, CBS’s Supergirl, in the 8 p.m. slot, matched NBC’s Blindspot, in the 10 p.m. slot, with a strong 2.2 showing in the key demos. Though the latter stayed in its range from last week, Supergirl saw a major tumble – nearly an entire point – from last week’s premiere, with 8.8 million viewers. Blindspot came in with a little under 8 million viewers.

    Back in the 8 p.m. slot,ABC’s Dancing with the Stars came in with a 2.0, and some 12 million viewers, while on Fox, Gotham saw a rise by a tenth to hit 1.6 in the demo, corralling 4.3 million viewers in total. On The CW, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend rose slightly to a 0.3, with a little under a million viewers in total.

  • In the 9 p.m. slot, Scorpion surprisingly kept up with last week’s numbers on CBS with 1.9 in the key demos, with a little over 9 million viewers. Meanwhile, Fox’s Minority Report continued its dwindle at 0.6 in the demo, and some 1.7 million viewers, and Jane the Virgin, on The CW, saw an uptick to 0.4 and nearly 2 million viewers in total.
  • Finally, in the 10 p.m. slot, CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles came in with a 1.2 in the key demos, and some 8.3 million viewers.
