NBC Orders Full Season for CHASE and Four More Scripts for UNDERCOVERS

     October 19, 2010

Yesterday we found out that NBC had given full season orders to The Event, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Outsourced and the fourth season of Chuck. Now one more rookie series is joining the club as NBC announced via press release that Chase (a series that I wasn’t too fond of) has been picked up for a full season. Aside from the fact that all of NBC’s new shows haven’t been getting stellar ratings, I honestly couldn’t care less about an entire season order for any of them.

Meanwhile, the network is a little more apprehensive about one of their other underwhelming series as Deadline reports the network has only ordered four more scripts of J.J. Abrams romantic comedy spy series Undercovers. At this point, I’ve given up on every single one of NBC’s new series with the exception of The Event, but I have a feeling that after I watch last night’s episode, I won’t be tuning in next week. I wouldn’t be surprised if all these series miss out on a second season. Anyone out there really digging Chase or Undercovers?
