50 Images from the New ‘Deadpool 2’ Trailer Herald the Arrival of X-Force

     March 22, 2018

20th Century Fox released a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel Deadpool 2 this morning, further revealing the follow-up to the R-rated superhero box office hit. Since this is one of the biggest movies of the year, we felt it prudent to take a closer look by grabbing some images from the new trailer, so below you can peruse through a sizable selection of screenshots from this new trailer.

There’s all sorts of fun things you can spy from these individual images from Deadpool’s stripper heels to the collars he and his fellow inmates are wearing. If I had to guess, the collars are like what the mutants wore on Genosha in the comics to inhibit their superpowers. These images also provide some gory details on the violence from decapitations to the gnarly gun-through-Deadpool’s-hand. But it all looks impressive, and there are some shots here that are just pure eye-candy like Deadpool fighting guys who appear to be the Yakuza (there definitely seems to be at least a montage where Deadpool is taking down various mobsters).

Check out the new Deadpool 2 images below. Written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and directed by David Leitch (Atomic Blonde), the film also stars Morena BaccarinT.J. MillerBrianna HildebrandJulian DennissonLeslie UggamsStefan Kapicic, and Karan Soni. The film opens in theaters on May 18th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Deadpool 2:

Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
