PARKS AND RECREATION Shows Off the “Swanson Pyramid of Greatness”

     December 9, 2010

NBC’s Parks and Recreation is one of the funniest shows on TV and the wait until January 20th season premiere is excruciating.  However, NBC has released a little sneak peek at the new episode by showing off the “Swanson Pyramid of Greatness”.  The poster celebrates the virtues of Pawnee Parks and Recreation head Ron Swanson (played brilliantly by Nick Offerman).  Through this useful pyramid, you’ll learn that “Deer Protein” ranks higher than “Old Wooden Sailing Ships” and “Wood Working” is above “Teamwork”.  The pyramid is also filled with Ron’s many words of wisdom.  For instance, Perspiration (“Only sweat during physical activity or love making.  No emotional sweating.”) and America (“The only country that matters.  If you want to experience other ‘cultures,’ use an atlas or a ham radio.”).  NBC, please start selling this online (also, please start selling reprints of the Pawnee murals).
