At this year’s CinemaCon, Sony unveiled a ton of new footage from a number of their upcoming films and even announced a number of new projects. In terms of new stuff, new Sony head Tom Rothman announced an animated Spider-Man movie that would be masterminded by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and unveiled logos for The Equalizer 2, Uncharted, Angry Birds, Inferno, and Smurfs.

Regarding new footage, attendees got to glimpse the first footage from such films as X-Mas (starring Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt), The 5th Wave (Chloe Moretz), Concussion (Will Smith), Ricky and the Flash (Meryl Streep), The Walk (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Money Monster (George Clooney and Julia Roberts), Hotel Transylvania 2, and new footage from films like Spectre, Goosebumps, Aloha, Pixels, The Perfect Guy, and more.

Shortly after the presentation ended I sat down with Peter from /film and recorded a video blog about the footage and our thoughts on the overall presentation. Check it out below and look for more from CinemaCon soon.
