Last year, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone decided to change their production schedule to doing 10 episodes a year instead of splitting the season into 7 episodes in the spring and another 7 in the fall. The show is always a little hit and miss considering that they’re trying to be topical, but some of the best episodes are when they’re just being kids. And that’s what Parker and Stone have done with South Park: The Stick of Truth, a video game RPG that lets you create a character and be the lead. Parker and Stone wrote the script, and the game is as funny and irreverent as you’d expect. The gameplay is also solid, so if you’re a gamer who loves South Park, you have to play this. It also eases the blow of having fewer South Park episodes per year.
South Park: The Stick of Truth is $42.99 (28% off) for today only, which is a great deal considering that the game came out only a few weeks ago. Click on the corresponding links for your system of choice, and hit the jump to check out a trailer.

(I know the release date on this is wrong, but it’s the best trailer there is that doesn’t give too much away)
