New SPECTRE Set Image Finds Bond in the Snow

     January 5, 2015

The holidays are officially over and filming has resumed on one of 2015’s most highly-anticipated films, Spectre.  The official James Bond Twitter just released an image announcing the first day back on set, and aside from letting us know that cameras are rolling again, there’s not much to be gleaned from this shot.  There’s snow, so at some point things will get cold.  The new James Bond sequel finds 007 (Daniel Craig) up against the criminal outfit Spectre, which stands for stands for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.  Well known to fans of the franchise, this notorious criminal organization is led by iconic Bond villain Ernest Blofeld.

Check out the new Spectre set photo after the jump.  The film opens November 6th, and also stars Christoph WaltzRalph FiennesNaomie HarrisBen WhishawLea SeydouxDave BautistaAndrew Scott, and Monica Bellucci.

This is the third little snippet we’ve seen from the set of Spectre.  The first was a similar slate image teasing a connection to Skyfall. Then we got a glimpse at Bond and fellow MI6 agent Bill Tanner (Rory Kinnear) heading down the Thames River.  Here’s hoping we get some more illuminating set photos soon!

Here’s the official synopsis for Spectre:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
