Atlanta Readers: Win Passes to See SPY

     May 28, 2015

When Melissa McCarthy teams up with director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat), she fires on all cylinder, and judging by the positive word out of SXSW, their latest collaboration, Spy, continues that trend. McCarthy plays a CIA analyst who volunteers to goes into the field after all of the agents are compromised by a security breach. I’ve dug the trailers for the film, and Jason Statham, who plays a sidelined spy, is reportedly hilarious in his supporting role. Here’s hoping that we’ve got another great summer comedy heading our way.

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 30 admit-two passes for the Atlanta screening of Spy. To enter for a chance to see the movie early and for free, send an e-mail to with the subject line “SPY”.  The screening is on Tuesday, June 2nd @ 7:30pm at Landmark Midtown, so don’t enter if you think you’ll be unavailable.  Multiple entries from a single person will disqualify all entries from that person.

Spy opens in theaters everywhere on June 5th, and also stars Jude Law, Allison Janney, and Rose Byrne.

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer:

Here’s the official synopsis:
