star-trek-discovery-logoBryan Fuller has stepped down as showrunner of the upcoming CBS digital series Star Trek: Discovery. He will remain an executive producer on the series and according to CBS executives will stay onboard developing the story arc for the first season, but because of other project conflicts will not be the showrunner.

HBO has picked up the series Cormoran Strike from Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling. The show will air in three separate episode events. The first, Cuckoo’s Calling, will be a 3 hour episode, the next two, The Silkworm and Career of Evil, will each be 2 hour episodes. Filming begins soon with English actor Tom Burke in the lead role.

Mad Men ended about a year and half ago and fans of the show have been wondering when showrunner and creator, Matthew Weiner, would head back to TV. And now, they won’t have to wait much longer, Weiner has signed on to create an 8 episode anthology series for Amazon. No titles or specific details have emerged from this yet.
