On this inaugural episode of Collider’s Rebels Recap Show, hosts John Campea and Kristian Harloff recap the season premiere of Star Wars Rebels Season 2, “Lost Commanders.” This is the official first episode of Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels, not to be confused with Siege of Lothal which is deemed a TV movie. Kristian and John discuss what they enjoyed about the Siege of Lothal movie and how it leads into the season premiere. In this episode, they break down all of the things they enjoyed, the tie-ins to the Star Wars universe and any room for improvement that they may have noticed.
In “Lost Commanders,” Kanan, Ezra, Sabine and Zeb are sent by Ahsoka to find Commander Rex, a clone soldier who has been off the grid for years. Can Kanan get over the demons of the past and work together with those he believes betrayed him? Will the lost clones join our band of Rebels or will the Empire find them and put an end to the alliance before it has a chance to get off the ground. The episode stars Kanan voiced by Freddy Prinze Jr, Hera voiced by Vanessa Marshall, Ezra voiced by Taylor Gray, Zeb voiced by Steve Blum, Sabine voiced by Tiya Sircar and returning to the Star Wars animation family, Dee Bradley Baker as Rex and the other clones. The episode was directed by Dave Filoni.
