SUICIDE SQAUD: New Images of Jared Leto’s Joker are Going to Hurt You

     July 13, 2015

Now that Warner Bros. has officially released the full Comic-Con trailer for David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad, we’ve got our first fully revealed look at Jared Leto as The Joker, voice and all. While, as Suicide Squad’s MVP fan favorite, The Joker only appears in a few frames of the trailer, we’ve collected a few HD screen shots (and a few sneakier low-def images) for you to analyze and dissect.

So far, the reaction has been pretty mixed to Leto and Ayer’s spin on the Joker, from the tattoos to the full-metal grill. I appreciate, at least that they’re bringing something new to the character, which has seen no shortage of incarnations over the last few decades. He actually looks damn frightening, while that might not appeal to those who want to see “The Clown Prince of Crime”, I think it’s effective and a solid fit for the film. Even if you don’t like it, it’s not going to kill you, it’s just going to hurt you really, really bad. Check out the screenshots and decide for yourself below.
