This week on The Collision, we talk about three films that opened in limited release in December and are now going wide this month–Selma, Inherent Vice, and American Sniper. During our conversation, we praise Selma and wonder why more people aren’t talking about it; we argue over Inherent Vice and compare it to Paul Thomas Anderson‘s other films; and we agree that American Sniper is awful and go into the many reasons why. As always, we finish up with our recommendations.
