the-hunger-games-catching-fire-stephanie-leigh-schlundLet’s get to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which, as Deadline reports, adds Schlund as Cashmere, a tribute from District 1.  Schlund will star alongside Alan Ritchson, who was recently added as the other District 1 tribute, Gloss. The tributes from District 1 are meant to represent the highest social class in the dystopian Panem and are seen as incredibly attractive. (Nailed it!)

Deadline also reports that Mulroney will join the dysfunctional family in August: Osage County, an adaptation of the Tracy Letts play that will be directed by John Wells (The Company Men). Mulroney will star as Steve, the shady businessman fiance to Lewis’ Karen, the delusional youngest daughter of the family.  Streep plays Violet, while Roberts plays her daughter, Barbara, with Abigail Breslin playing her daughter, Jean.  Margo Martindale (Million Dollar Baby) also joined recently as Violet’s daughter, Mattie Fae.

Finally, from Variety comes word that Wright is in talks to star in A Most Wanted Man.  The novel centers on an unlikely trio: Issa, a Chechen Muslim who illegally immigrates to Hamburg, Germany; Annabel, an idealistic young German civil rights lawyer and Tommy Brue, a sixty-year-old man who stands to inherit a failing bank.  Phillip Seymour Hoffman was previously reported as being attached for the Chechen role, while Rachel McAdams seems to be lined up as the young lawyer.  The le Carre novels The Constant Gardener and Tinker Tailor Solider Spy have previously been mined for feature film adaptations.
