Norman Reedus’ Daryl Sports a Bandana in New Image from THE WALKING DEAD Season 4

     July 11, 2013

With San Diego Comic-Con poised to get underway next week, we’re expecting to see a lot of content from many, many upcoming genre properties.  However, the week before Comic-Con is proving to be almost just as plentiful.  Ahead of the AMC drama series’ Hall H panel next Friday, a new image from the upcoming fourth season of The Walking Dead has been released online.  It’s more of a tease than a substantial look at what’s in store, as we see a close-up of Norman Reedus’ Daryl sporting a bandana over his face.  Is he planning on robbing a train?  Does he have an unsightly cold sore?  Is the smell of the undead just too much for Daryl Dixon?  We’ll have to wait until October to find out the circumstances behind this wardrobe choice, but we’ll have a better idea of what to expect from the coming season after the Comic-Con panel next week.

Hit the jump to take a look at the image, and check back here on Collider next Friday for our full recap of the Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con.  The fourth season kicks off on AMC this October.
