Atlanta Readers: Win Passes to See THIS IS THE END

     June 3, 2013

I’ve seen This Is the End, and it is fucking hilarious.  I was laughing my ass off throughout the movie.  I was a bit worried that there would be too much self-indulgent self-mockery of the stars’ celebrity status (they all play “themselves”), but they keep those jokes at a minimum, and they’re all great.  This will easily be one of the funniest films of the year.  In fact, I’m planning to see it again, and I want to see it with you!

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 200 passes to the Atlanta screening of This Is the End.  Hit the jump to find out how you can see the movie early and for free.  The film stars Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Jay Baruchel, and Danny McBrideThis Is the End opens June 12th.

Normally, we give out codes or mail out passes to a small group of winners.  Not this time.  We’ve got 200 download codes to give away.  Here’s how this works:

Every user is allowed to download up to two admit-one passes (so one for you, and one for a friend if you’d like to bring someone along.  You don’t have to download two passes if you’re lonely and sad).  Go to:

The screening is on June 10th at 7:30pm at Regal Atlantic Station, so please don’t download passes if you think you’ll be unable to attend.  Remember that a pass is not a ticket, and seating is first come, first serve.  Also, please leave all recording devices, including cell phones, in your vehicle or be prepared to check them with security for the duration of the screening.

And here’s the official synopsis for This Is the End:

The film follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside.  Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.
