First Look at ‘Tuca & Bertie’ Reveals Tiffany Hadish and Ali Wong’s Animated Netflix Series

If you’re a fan of Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Ali Wong (American Housewife), and/or BoJack Horseman, first of all, you have good taste, and secondly, you’ll want to check out the new Netflix animated series, Tuca & Bertie. The new NSFW show from creator/showrunner Lisa Hanawalt brings the little-told story about the friendship of two thirty-something birdwomen to life when it debuts this May. But you can get an early look at the show itself as well as the behind-the-scenes camaraderie between Haddish and Wong thanks to a new video.

Along with insider info from Hanawalt, the duo talks about what drew them to the project, how closely their personalities align with their characters, and what sort of insanity fans can expect from Tuca & Bertie.
