Tuesday TV Ratings: AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Falls to Another Series Low While THE FLASH Dips

TV ratings for Tuesday, October 21st are in.  Here’s a brief rundown:

  • The CW’s The Flash (read Dave’s recap here) was down three tenths from last week’s episode, scoring a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.38 million viewers.  No matter, that’s still a strong performance for The CW, and the network has already ordered a full season.  Supernatural, meanwhile, dipped a tenth to a 0.9 rating and scored 2.10 million viewers.
  • The ratings fall of ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (read Evan Valentine’s recap here) continues as it was down two tenths from last week to a series low 1.5 rating and scored 4.29 million viewers.  Can the promise of the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer next week turn things around?  Elsewhere on the network, Selfie ticked up to a 1.1 rating and scored 3.81 million viewers, Manhattan Love Story was down two tenths to a 0.7 rating and 2.65 million viewers, and Forever ticked up a tenth to a 1.2 rating and scored 4.8 million viewers.

  • NBC’s swell new comedy Marry Me dropped four tenths from its premiere to a 1.9 rating and scored 6.07 million viewers, About a Boy was down three tenths to a 1.4 rating and 4.89 million viewers, and Chicago Fire matched last week’s 1.9 rating and scored 7.43 million viewers.


  • CBS’ NCIS dipped a tenth to a 2.4 rating and scored 16.88 million viewers, NCIS: New Orleans was up two tenths to a 2.4 rating and scored 15.87 million viewers, and Person of Interest was steady with last week’s series low 1.5 rating and scored 9.26 million viewers.
